TAFFETA: The Holiday Collection (1986-1986)
TAFFETA is the 2nd VanderBear Family "Holiday Limited Edition", with production limited to 1986. The bears are formally dressed in taffeta, lace and velvet, with the boys and girls each sporting a similar version of the holiday outfit:
20" Cornelius - White dickey with red bowtie and cummerbund worn under blue velvet tuxedo jacket trimmed at lapel in blue/green/red plaid taffeta with white cuffs and red boutonniere, blue velvet pants
18" Alice - factory-attached blue net and grosgrain ribbon head bow embellished with red satin rosette; dress is blue/green/red plaid taffeta with ruffled hem and collar, trimmed in eyelet lace at collar, cuffs and hem, tied at waist with blue grosgrain ribbon and accented with similar pink satin rosette as ear bow. Dress is worn over eyelet trimmed petticoat (same flowerpot design as the Day in the Country collection apron).
12" Fluffy - factory-attached blue grosgrain ribbon bow embellished with tiny red satin rosette; dress is blue/green/red plaid taffeta trimmed in eyelet lace at bodice, cuffs and hem, tied at waist with blue grosgrain ribbon and accented with similar pink satin rosette as ear bow. Dress is worn over eyelet trimmed petticoat (same flowerpot design as the Day in the Country collection apron).

Dress is worn over eyelet trimmed petticoat (same flowerpot design as the Day in the Country collection apron).
Hangtag is a large tag with white background and white cord featuring "bear name" VanderBear in blue ink.
