PRODUCT CONDITION DETAILS
As you browse our product offerings, please keep in mind that we are a resale specialty boutique. While we have some limited "new" product purchased directly from the North American Bear Company, the majority of our product is not new (pre-owned) and is offered here for resale. Pre-owned items may include packaged outfits and boxed bears; please refer to the item condition details posted on each product listing.
We are very selective when sourcing our product offerings. Some expected signs of light use for pre-owned or displayed bears may include clothing marks on the bear's fur, minor pilling or pitting of felt paws, and other similar signs of handling. Any notable condition issues will be documented in the product photos and/or specifically mentioned in the product description.
Each inventory item is photographed and listed as a unique product offering; this ensures that the product you are viewing will be the exact item you receive at time of purchase.
A couple of additional points to note; even old store stock products may occasionally show minor condition issues due to age and the breakdown of source materials used in manufacture. While not prevalent, some typical examples for Muffy product include brittle or failing elastic and rubber bands (used in outfits, ear bows, and hangtags), modeling, fading, and other discoloration of plastic shoes, and cracking/crazing/flecking of pleather and similar materials used in some of the outfit collections.
To ensure a satisfactory shopping experience, we ask that you keep all this in mind as you are making your purchase selections; kindly take note of any visible condition issues shown in listing photos and/or condition comments added to the product description, and never hesitate to reach out with a question about a product offered for sale.
REFUND AND RETURN POLICY
In the rare event your item is received damaged or lost in transit, please notify us immediately so that we can issue you a speedy refund.
As a family owned and operated small business boutique, our goal is for our customers to be 100% satisfied with their purchase; returns/refunds are offered for any product returned in original purchase condition within 7 days of the confirmed delivery date (click link below for full terms and conditions). We strive to be transparent in our listing process and ask that you take care to read the item descriptions carefully and examine product photographs to ensure your purchase expectations are in line with the products offered for sale. If you have any questions or would like more information about a store item, please contact us before finalizing your purchase selections.
SHIPPING POLICY
Featured products are stocked and ready for shipment. Orders are processed for shipment next business day, following receipt of payment; we do not ship on weekends and major holidays.
Product prices do not include shipping costs. Most products will ship USPS Ground Advantage throughout the 50 United States for a flat shipping/packaging fee of $5.90 per order (all products combined into one order will ship for this fee). Ground Advantage shipments typically deliver within 5 business days of confirmation of order shipment. Some large items will ship with a calculated cost based on weight / box size.
We also offer Priority Mail shipments for a flat shipping/packaging fee of $11.90 per order (all products combined into one order will ship for this fee) with the exception of the large items processing with a calculated shipping cost. Priority mail packages typically deliver within 3 business days of confirmation of order shipment.
Shipping fees will be added to your invoice at time of checkout and you will receive a confirming e-mail with package tracking details when your purchase has shipped.
Currently, we do not ship outside of the 50 United States; due to sales tax programming limitations on this site, IL buyers are limited to purchases made from bufgucci Boutique on ETSY.
STATE SALES TAX
State sales tax is collected and remitted in accordance with economic nexus thresholds set by the individual states. The below guidelines explain how you will be assessed for sales tax for purchases made from the Boutique:
All purchases made from bufgucci Boutique on the ETSY Marketplace will be taxed at time of purchase with assessment determined by the customer "ship to" location. ETSY will collect and remit the appropriate sales taxes on these purchases,
We do not collect/remit any sales tax on purchases made directly from bufgucci.com with a USA ship to location outside of Illinois; these buyers are responsible for reporting/remitting directly to the taxing authority any sales tax mandated by their individual state/township/city of residence.
Purchases made directly from bufgucci.com with a "ship to" location in Illinois will be subject to state and local sales tax at time of invoice. The Boutique will collect and remit the appropriate sales taxes on these purchases and a manual invoice process is required to complete the transaction in this case. Illinois buyers, please contact the store to request an invoice.
USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION POLICY
bufgucci.com will keep only that information necessary to maintain accurate business records, facilitate the shipment of purchased product (name, delivery address, payment method, item purchased, etc) and details necessary to respond to customer inquiry (name, e-mail, phone number). We do not share, disseminate, or sell any personal information collected during the communication or invoicing processes to any third party. Outside of a customer request to join the boutique newsletter or mailing list, we do not use collected information for store marketing campaigns. Store subscription elections may be cancelled at anytime by sending a cancellation request to info@bufgucci.com.
