Muffy DISNEY COLLECTION TIGGER

NABCO offered a limited production of 500 Muffy Tigger and she made her debut at the Disney Doll & Teddy Convention in 2005.

Horsin' Around: The Equestrienne Collection

This adorable collection was produced between 1993 and 1996. Muffy, Hoppy and Oatsie were offered as factory-dressed bears and "outfit only".

MUFFY VALENTINE I
(1986-1989)

This collection was offered as a factory-dressed bear or outfit set. The collection hangtag was the same as Christening I collection - original hangtag was a single tag with white string; later a small folded tag was used and string was switched out for gold elastic cord at some point.

7" Muffy - White cotton eyelet dress, red ribbon sash and head bow, red heart necklace and Velcro back closure; bow attached to bear on factory dressed bear

Muffy Halloween I: WITCH
(1986-1988)

Adorable 7" Muffy factory-dressed in flared collar black satin cape worn over orange cotton theme print dress (black stars with white dots), sharp black velveteen witches hat with large satin brim attached under chin with thin black elastic, black felt eye mask held against face with thin black elastic, and cute stuffed orange pumpkin prop attached at sleeve cuff by black cording.

The bear was the second version Muffy: #2 Tiny Loop Tag, high on back, made in Korea.

The hangtag was a large orange tag (2" H x 3" W) with white cord and "Muffy VanderBear" written in black ink on front.

Introduced in 1986 and retired in 1988, original factory-dressed Muffy WITCH retailed for $20. Quickly becoming a fan favorite, a mint Muffy WITCH at market peak could command a whopping $800!

Muffy THANKSGIVING Celebrations
Muffy Pilgrim (1989)

This beloved collection was available from its introduction in 1989 through 2001, offered as both factory-dressed bear and outfit only. The basic costume remained consistent through the decade, with some minor variations in the belt and eyelet trim. The hangtag featured a black background and "Muffy VanderBear" lettering and border done in silver.  The elaborate felt turkey prop is fantastic!

PocaHoppy (1998)

This outfit is just too great! Hoppy sports a wonderful fringed "suede" dress with thread stitch accents, elaborate felt feather headband, great pair of moccasins, and a wampum bag prop with three paper bunny coins. The hangtag featured Muffy and Hoppy by the campfire with the collection name.

Paris Bistrot: Le Lapin Rotund

This one is on my "top 10" collection list: from the fabulous table and chair set, delightful backdrop, and miniature food items, to the whimsical characters - I absolutely love it!

The collection was produced between 1997 and 2001. Muffy, Hoppy and Lulu were offered as factory-dressed bears and "outfit only". Bistrot table set, backdrop and packaged food set were also available.

Jam Session

If you have not seen this little stove up close, you are missing something great! Beautifully crafted of decorated tin and molded plastic accents, with opening doors, built-in steamer pan, and little metal utensils. Super yummy! Costumes, jam jars, and cookware set are pretty great as well.

The collection was introduced in 1999 and remained a top seller for NABCO through end of production in 2001. Muffy and Hoppy were available as factory-dressed bears or outfit only.

Picnic in Provence

This is one of the last collections produced by NABCO, introduced in 2000 and retired in 2001. Muffy, Hoppy, Oastie, Lulu and Purrlie all available factory-dressed or outfit only. The picnic basket set is marvelous: miniature character print tin plates, sunflower theme table cloth and napkins, a little round loaf of bread, bowl of olives and a monogrammed berry tart.

Garden Party

This collection featured the full VanderBear family--mom, Alice, dad, Cornelius, the twins, Fuzzy and Fluffy, Muffy of course, and Muffy's BFF Hoppy--available as factory-dressed bears or outfit only. It also included a gazebo backdrop, finger sandwich set and a beautifully embroidered tablecloth with chair cushion set made to fit the Bistrot table and chairs.

The collection was introduced in 1999 and retired from production in 2001.

Mommy and Me: The Teacup Collection

This is the second "tea time" collection produced by NABCO, introduced in 1991 and retired in 1994. This celebration of "Mother's Day" features Muffy and Alice (available as dressed bear and outfit only), a cute framed photo of Muffy, and some pretty awesome wicker furniture. The wicker collection included a Mommy sized settee, Muffy sized chair and a small table to showcase the lovely garden themed tea set.
